Series "156". Latin America stamps from 1852 to 1935 originally purchased as they were mounted over seventy years ago in old-time Approval Books. This is a quite an amazing group of old-time approval books with a wide array of 19th and early 20th Century mint and used sets and singles. The material is of exceptional above average quality, many four margin 1st issue imperfs including #1's throughout. Contains many varieties including esoteric back of the book issues with just about every country represented. There is some duplication, with occasionally both a mint and used stamp., or different shades of a stamp. Overall freshness is outstanding.
